Veterinary medical students inspire us with their tenacity and dedication. For many students, becoming a veterinarian has been a dream since childhood. The reality is that vet med training requires tremendous focus, hard work, and investments of time, energy, and money. Thanks to donors’ support, many of our students receive scholarships that help ease some of the financial burdens of pursuing a degree in veterinary medicine.
As one student wrote to express her gratitude to a donor, “It must require a great amount of trust to make an investment in someone you have never met. As a veterinarian, I can serve the people and animals in my community to the best of my ability.”
