WHAT IS A DAY OF GIVING?
A Day of Giving is our opportunity to show our Aggie pride and gratitude for the impact Utah State University has had on each of us, in our communities, and around the world. On this day, Aggies can make a gift of any size to the designation of your choice.
This year, we’re asking our alumni, friends, faculty, staff, students, and parents to Create Your Aggie Impact by giving to student scholarships. Every gift matters and makes a difference to a student in need.
WHY A DAY OF GIVING?
In 1888, the Agricultural College of Utah was founded as the state's land-grant institution. For more than 131 years, Aggies have proven that we achieve more, we go higher, and we shine brighter when we work together than we ever could on our own. At no time is our shared success celebrated with more excitement than during Homecoming Week, when each of us is instrumental in helping the University reach our A Day of Giving goal.
WHAT MAKES MY CONTRIBUTION SPECIAL ON A DAY OF GIVING?
Your gift is especially meaningful on A Day of Giving because you are helping to reach our 1,000-donor goal. Your generosity also funds the life-changing work being done at Utah State university.
HOW CAN I MAKE MY GIFT ON A DAY OF GIVING?

I AM A FACULTY/STAFF MEMBER. CAN I GIVE THROUGH PAYROLL DEDUCTION?
Yes! You will have the opportunity to make your gift through payroll deduction. Click here to make your gift.
DOES MY GIFT COUNT TOWARD GIVING SOCIETY MEMBERSHIPS?
Yes! Your gift of any size on A Day of Giving counts toward your annual and lifetime giving totals and giving society memberships, such as Old Main Society.
WILL MY EMPLOYER MATCH MY GIFT?
Your gift may be eligible to be matched by your employer. You can use our search tool to see if your company will match gifts to Utah State University.
IS THERE A MINIMUM GIFT AMOUNT?
There is a $5 minimum for your gift to be counted toward A Day of Giving. Last year, the most common minimum gift was $18.88, but you are welcome to give any amount you wish.
WILL MY GIFT BE TAX-DEDUCTIBLE?
Donations to Utah State University on A Day of Giving will generate a gift receipt issued by the USU Advancement Office that substantiate a donor’s charitable contribution that can be used for tax purposes.
