Your Legacy, Worn with Pride
As you prepare to cross the stage, you have the chance to make a lasting impact on the Aggies who will follow. The 1888 Challenge invites graduating students to give $18.88 in support of programs that open doors—scholarships, emergency aid, and student opportunities that define the Aggie experience.
Our Mission:
To empower future Aggies by strengthening student-focused funds such as:
-
The Student Emergency Hardship Fund
-
CAPS - Counseling & Psychological Services
Aggie First Scholars
Your contribution isn’t just a donation—it’s a commitment to the community that shaped your journey.
How You Can Participate
-
Make a one-time or a reoccurring gift of $18.88.
-
Wear your philanthropy cord with pride at graduation.
-
Share the challenge and inspire your classmates to join!
By taking part in the 1888 Challenge, you celebrate where you’ve been, support who comes next, and wear a cord that represents the legacy you’re leaving behind. Together, we strengthen the Aggie community—one graduate at a time.
What do I do after I donate?
You may pick up your cords from the Alumni Center (https://www.usu.edu/map/index....) by going to the front desk and telling them you are here to pick up your philanthropy cord. You may also pick up them up at commencement on the Quad at 6pm. Be prepared to show the receipt which should be found in your email from GiveCampus.
