Help Feed Fellow Aggies – Support the SNAC Food Pantry
After receiving the D. Wynne Thorne Career Research Award for his groundbreaking work in creating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, USU's Dr. Michael Twohig decided to generously donate his cash prize of $7,500 back to the university's students by giving it to the Student Nutrition Access Center (SNAC). After touring the SNAC pantry, Dr. Twohig and the staff at SNAC decided to put on a matching campaign. For every dollar donated, Twohig will match that amount up to $7,500.
SNAC relies heavily on donations to keep shelves stocked and students supported- and that's where you come in.
Our Goal: $15,000. Your gift will help provide:
- Weekly access to healthy, free groceries
- Emergency food boxes for students in crisis
- Cooking classes and nutrition workshops
- Mobile pantries for statewide access
